As someone who was born and raised in New England, I’m pretty familiar with each state’s secret spots, best restaurants, and top attraction sites to go to. You could find me anywhere from visiting Newport, Rhode Island and checking out the massive mansions to getting a lobster roll in downtown Portland, Maine. There’s always something to do and places to see.

Working with a pharmaceutical company and constantly interacting with hospitals I was always curious what the top hospitals were that I was working closely with. I had heard New England has always had a positive reputation for our healthcare facilities but wanted to check it out on my own. I started researching online and found that almost every state in New England scored an “A” with at least one of their hospitals. Better known as “Hospitals with a consistent pattern of protecting patients from errors, accidents, and injuries.”

Given everything that’s happened in the past year, information like this is important and crucial when needing medical attention. “A” hospitals were better prepared when the pandemic hit and will continue to prioritize patient safety and well-being in any circumstance. Many people overlook the choice of hospitals they want to go to since it’s not something that you think about on a regular basis. I encourage you to check it in your area, you never know what you’ll find!
