National Doctors’ Day is officially observed on March 30th each year. This is a day set aside to recognize and appreciate the contributions and sacrifices made by physicians and doctors. It is an opportunity to express gratitude for the vital role that doctors play in promoting health and well-being.

Did you know?

On average, doctors work long hours. Some may put in more than 60 hours per week, showcasing their dedication to patient care.

Medical school is no walk in the park. The journey to becoming a doctor typically takes at least 11 years – 4 years of undergraduate, 4 years of medical school, and several years of residency.

Doctors are infamous for their handwriting. This phenomenon even has a name: “the doctor’s scrawl.” Luckily, electronic medical records are helping to alleviate this age-old issue.

On National Doctors Day, I want to celebrate all the healthcare professionals who make a difference in the lives of others. Your contributions are immeasurable, and your impact extends far beyond the walls of the clinic.
